Ms. Rachel Ms. Clara
Hello my name is Ms. Rachel. I am passionate about enabling students to explore their own interests and take ownership for their own learning. I have an Associate MACTE Montessori certificate from Southwestern University, Texas. I have a wealth of experience in Montessori and Education. I served as a presenter at several Montessori conferences, have been an instructor at a Montessori training institute, and have helped to found, develop, and conduct the Lower Elementary program for one of the schools previously worked at. I have been teaching for more than 20 years as a Montessori teacher, and this is my fourth year with SBMCS. I enjoy photography, going to museums, and observing nature.
My name is Clara Rivera. I am so proud to be part of the South Broward Montessori Charter School family. I am from Cali, Colombia. I love reading books and painting frames. I have a Science degree from Union Institute and University in Early Childhood Education. I have been teaching for more than 20years. I am happy to be starting my first year of teaching here with all of our students. I have begun my journey here at South Broward Montessori as a Math and Science teacher. I have a passion for helping all students reach their potential and love to challenge them to be curious and take chances when learning. I really enjoy being in a classroom teaching role where I can support all students and see their growth.
